Is PetMatch a Dating or Breeding App?

No. The PetMatch at petmatched.com is a pet twin finder. You upload a photo of a dog or cat, and vision AI searches a pool of real pets for the faces that look most like yours. It does not match people for dates, list animals for breeding, or run an adoption marketplace.

If a search result, an App Store page, or a website called PetMatch is asking who you want to meet or which pet you want to breed, you are looking at a different product that reused the name.

Bruno Vasconcelos publishes an App Store app titled PetMatch - Find Your Match, Apple ID 6754249654. It is a dating, breeding, and adoption app. People searching the App Store for "PetMatch" can land on that listing. It is not Arrie L's twin finder, and it is not petmatched.com.

Breeding, playdates, and adoption sites

• petmatch.fit and petmatchapp.social are breeding and playdate products.
• petmatch.vn is an adoption site in Vietnam.

None of them search a pool of pet faces for a lookalike.

A 2014 Petfinder lookalike experiment was also called PetMatch in press coverage. That product is not this one either.

Apps that sound close and still are not us

PetTwin (pettwin.app), listed on the App Store as "PetTwin - Find Your Pet's Twin," is a separate iOS-first lookalike finder. It does the twin job. It is not PetMatch. The factual split is on PetMatch vs PetTwin.

Animal Twin (package com.appforge.mypetmatch) takes a human selfie and matches it to an animal. Doggelganger and Floof Matcher take a human selfie and suggest a shelter dog. Those are "which animal looks like this person?" tools. PetMatch starts from a photo of the pet.
